Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana: The central government's Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana (PMJAY) promises to provide free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh annually to crores of poor and needy families of the country. For this, Ayushman cards are made, through which treatment can be done in government and panel private hospitals. But many times there are reports that some hospitals refuse treatment despite having Ayushman card, even though they are included in the scheme. In such a situation, do not panic but immediately register a complaint against them in the government manner.

Click on Register Your Grievance.
Enter the captcha code and select the scheme.
Fill the rest of the information asked and register the complaint.
You will get a Grievance ID, keep it safely.

Complain through UMANG App
Open UMANG App.
Select Ayushman Bharat section.
Go to Grievance Redressal and register the complaint.
What to carry with you
Photo of Ayushman card.
Video or audio of hospital slip or refusal (if possible)
Date and time of complaint.
Keep checking the status with the received Grievance ID.
Process of making Ayushman card
Go to the nearest CSC i.e. Common Service Center.
The officer will check the eligibility and ask for the document.
The card will be made after successful verification.
You can also download the card online.
The aim of the scheme is to provide equal treatment to everyone. If any hospital violates this, strict action can be taken against it. Just do not forget to complain.
